SFERS : Retirement Board

The Retirement Board of the San Francisco Employees’ Retirement City Hall System oversees Plan administration, pension fund investment, member benefits, and actuarial funding. The Retirement Board meets on the second Wednesday of each month.

The Retirement Board is composed of seven members: three elected by the active and retired members of SFERS; three appointed by the Mayor in accordance with §12.100 of the San Francisco City Charter; and one designated by the President of the Board of Supervisors or his/her designee from among the other members of the Board of Supervisors.
